A teenage boy has been found shot in Sandviken.
The police have a greater effort at the scene.
– I heard six shots in rapid succession and then screams, says a resident nearby.
At 11pm on Tuesday evening, police and an ambulance were sent to the Björksätra area in Sandviken after reports of gunfire.
At the scene, a boy in his early teens was found with gunshot wounds.
– We are there with a big effort and carry out investigative technical measures, says Joar Källman, commander at the police’s regional command center to Aftonbladet just before 01:00.
Shortly afterwards, it was confirmed that a person had been found injured and had been taken to hospital by ambulance.
His condition is said to be stable.
The crime scene is in the middle of a residential area near a soccer field and a pizzeria.
A resident in the area ended up in the middle of the drama.
Heard six shots
– I was sitting at the computer with an open window. Then I heard six shots in rapid succession. Then I heard screams, says the witness.
The witness took his scooter and went to the place just a few hundred meters from the residence.
– I wanted to go there to see if there was anything to help with.
There was an upset atmosphere at the scene and several people around the shot.
– After about three minutes, the police came and then two ambulances, says the resident.
According to witnesses at the scene, the perpetrators must have fled towards a wooded area after the shooting.
