The alarm came shortly after 11 pm on Tuesday evening about a suspected shooting in the Björksätra district.
– When we get there, we can confirm that there was a shooting at the scene, says Marie Larsson, RLC officer at the police.
A boy in his early teens was found with a gunshot wound at the scene. He was taken by ambulance to hospital and his condition was assessed as stable, the police write on their website.
The police do not yet want to go into any more details about the incident or if anyone has been arrested.
– We have a larger effort in place and are currently working on the initial phase of the work, says Marie Larsson, RLC commander at the police.
