It was just before 9:30 p.m. that the injured man was found on Lundavägen at the height of Segevång in Malmö.
The man, who is in his 30s, is taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of the injury is currently unclear.
No one has been arrested and the police are now looking for one or more perpetrators. The criminal classification has not yet been specified.
