Police have been called to Kannebäck in Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg after a guy in his early teens has been shot in an apartment building.
The alarm about the shooting came shortly after 8 p.m. and when the police arrived at the scene, a person was found who has been taken to hospital.
– The police in the west region are currently working with high activity and on a broad front in the search, says Martin Hallberg, regional duty officer at the police in the West, to TV4 Nyheterna.
According to the police, there are two perpetrators, at least one of whom is masked.
– There must be two young perpetrators, patrols have found several empty shell casings, says Thomas Fuxborg at the police in Gothenburg, reports The evening paper.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons offences. No suspect has been arrested.
The man’s injuries are not life-threatening.
