Police and ambulance were alerted to Fruängen’s square shortly after 9 pm. Two people were found with gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital by ambulance and ambulance helicopter respectively.
– We have started a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons crime, says Per Fahlström at the police.
Later in the evening, police confirm that a man has been arrested on suspicion in the case.
A large area has been blocked off and an extensive effort is underway with police dogs and helicopters. The police are working to collect testimony and monitoring materials from the area.
Is there any connection to gang crime?
