After several alarms about loud explosions in central Norrköping, police patrols were able to quickly establish that a shooting had taken place.
The shooting took place at a property.
– We were soon able to find damage to an entrance door that indicated a shooting, says Lars Göran Nilseryd, officer on duty at the police.
During the night of Tuesday, the police were alerted to loud explosions in a residential area in central Norrköping. When the patrol arrived at the scene, it was established that it was a shooting.
– At 01.52 we received several calls about explosions. Several patrols were sent to the scene and we were soon able to find damage to an entrance door that indicated gunfire, says Lars Göran Nilseryd, duty officer at the police.
No person is deprived of liberty. The police are investigating and have started a preliminary investigation regarding serious weapons offenses and serious illegal threats.
– We have cordoned off the place and are carrying out a technical investigation and have contacted all the callers and knocked on a few doors, says Lars Göran Nilseryd.
