Shooting drama at Kolmården when the veterinarian was going to euthanize animals

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

At the beginning of December last year, a veterinarian was going to euthanize two Letje waterbucks at Kolmården Zoo. But one of the shots fired went through a stable door, and inside the stable were two people who had not received any information.

– We changed the time for when this would happen and then missed informing some employees, says Kolmården CEO Christine Karmfalk.

“We take it very seriously, of course”

The zoo now reports itself to the Swedish Work Environment Authority. According to the report, a shot must have been fired in the direction of one of the park’s interns.

– We take it very seriously, of course, she says.

No one was injured in connection with the incident.
