The police were called shortly after 11 p.m.
– We received an alarm from several residents in the area who heard several bangs, it is a multi-family area in the center of Fittja, says Carina Skagerlindpress spokesperson at the police.

Several windows hit
The police suspect that someone fired shots at a facade of an apartment building, hitting several windows.

One person has been detained during the night, the police say.
No one was injured in connection with the incident, but there were people at home in at least one of the homes whose windows were hit. Exactly how many homes are involved is still unclear.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder.
The police are on the scene to talk to witnesses and carry out a technical examination of the crime scene. They also look over which surveillance cameras are in the area.
