An apartment in Gusum outside Valdemarsvik was fired upon on Wednesday evening.
– We received a call just after 21 that someone had shot through a window to a residence and when the patrol got there they could ascertain that this was the case, says Linus Maxe, commander of the police region East.
No one was injured. The residence was cordoned off during the evening and is now being examined by technicians.
– We have several patrols on site and have been working on various investigative measures during the evening. No one has yet been arrested, but we have started a preliminary investigation regarding serious weapons offenses and serious illegal threats, says Linus Maxe.
