A shooting has occurred on Västra Kattarp in Malmö, the police say. At 21.50, several alarms were received from callers who told about the shooting.
– It was shot into an apartment, says police spokesperson Calle Persson.
A person who was in the apartment was slightly injured in connection with the shooting. The person has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
– The person must be examined by the healthcare system before we can go into more detail about the injuries, says Calle Persson.
Suspected crime scene cordoned off
A large police operation has been launched, among other things to search for the perpetrator. There are currently no suspects in the case.
– We are working on trying to find out more and who might have done this, says Calle Persson.
A suspected crime scene has been cordoned off and the police are working on gathering information and interviewing witnesses.
Police technicians have gone to the scene to carry out investigations inside and outside the apartment.
