Shortly after 11:30 p.m., the police received an alarm about several loud bangs in the Nordantill district in Norrköping.
– We can confirm that shots have been fired at an apartment door. There were a number of people in the home, but no one was injured, says Daniel Reiborn, commanding officer in the East police region.
The place is cordoned off and the police are working on several investigative measures.
– A technical examination must take place during the night. We also knock on doors and interrogate on the spot, says Reiborn.
No one is currently a suspect or detained. The police do not want to comment on whether the incident could be linked to gang crime.
A preliminary investigation regarding serious weapons offenses and serious illegal threats has been initiated.
