A residence in the Sävja area of Uppsala was exposed to gunfire at midnight on the night of Monday.
No one has been found injured, but the police are very tight-lipped about what happened and do not want to reveal if anyone was in the home during the shooting.
– We are at the site right now working and there is door knocking in the area. We have set up a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons crime but cannot say more at the moment, says Daniel Winge, commander of police region Mitt.
The crime scene is cordoned off but there are no suspects or arrests for the shooting.
