Shocking record catch: 97.5 kilos of python

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

97.5 kilos. That’s how much the snake that biologists have caught in Florida weighs – the largest Burmese python ever discovered in the US state. The female was almost five meters long and had 122 eggs under development. Its last meal was a whole deer. The giant snake is considered an invasive species and was caught in the Everglades in December – after a minor wrestling match with the biologists. However, it has been frozen pending an autopsy and the record catch has not been announced until now. Pythons do not belong in South Florida but have gone wild, among other things after private individuals got tired of their pets and let them out. Game wardens work hard to get rid of snakes that devour animals such as raccoons, feral cats and marsupials. See pictures of the record snake in the clip above.
