New information about Zlatan Ibrahimovic now has the football world crossing its fingers.
There has been great speculation about the star Swede’s future.
But soon “Ibra” can actually step in as head coach in Serie A.
It has been several months Zlatan Ibrahimovic ended his playing career and so far he is enjoying his retirement and the quiet everyday life. Most things point to “Ibra” being assigned a leadership role within Milan’s organization, but so far no official word has come.

At the same time, the star Swede has continued to follow his Milan and has often been seen in the stands when the red and black are playing. But things haven’t gone very well this season in Serie A.

At the moment, they are in third place and are a full nine points behind league leader and arch-rival Inter after 15 games played. This weekend’s heavy league loss against Atalanta and the fact that they may soon be out of the Champions League may now have consequences for the head coach Stefano Pioli.
Zlatan’s future
If Milan lose to Newcastle in the CL match on Wednesday night, the Italian could be fuming and now comes shock information involving Ibrahimovic. Italian La Repubblica reports that Zlatan may step in as the new head coach(!) to act as an interim solution for the rest of the season.

The 42-year-old will then become the owner Gerry Cardinales extended arm on the touchline and lead the team along with the former Milan player Ignazio Abate. Zlatan’s former teammate is currently in charge of the club’s primavera team.

Ibra has previously said he is not interested in becoming head coach but confirms he is in talks with Milan about a role at the club. Possibly he can be persuaded to take over from Pioli.
– I do not know. We still talk. Let’s wait and see what happens, he told Italian Sky Sports about a leadership role in Milan.
