The video broadcast by L214 lasts just under 4 minutes. Sufficient, however, to see rabbits, crammed into their wire cages, for some injured in several places and sometimes infected, for others dying when some are simply dead and decomposing.
What is the exploitation of rabbits concerned by the video of L214?
According to a press release, L214 indicates that it shot the images within the Moulin operation, in Domalain (Ille-et-Vilaine), 45km east of Rennes. The breeding belongs to Frédéric Blot, the president of the National Federation of Rabbit Producer Groups (which represents 90% of rabbit production in France), but also of the Elvilap group, which weighs 10% in national production (2 .6 million rabbits per year).

In its press release, L214 also states that some of the rabbits raised under these conditions are then marketed in mass distribution through a brand well known to the public: “Le Gaulois”. On the packaging of some of the products sold is even the photo of Frédéric Blot, the boss of rabbit breeding denounced by L214.
