Rose-Marie Jonsson, 82, risked not being able to go to hockey this season.
Then the Linköpings supporters came to the rescue.
– I have told them how grateful I am, says Rose-Marie to P4 Östergötland.
82-year-old Rose-Marie Jonsson is a big fan of Linköping HC. It all started when she and her family moved to Linköping in 2002, to a residential area where many hockey players lived. When the goalkeeper Rastislav Stana In 2006 moved to the area, they talked to him and became curious about hockey.

Rose-Marie also has a tattoo of the LHC logo – on her neck! Jonsson got it when she got an LHC tattoo as a 70th birthday present.
– I have only received positive reactions. In the beginning, my sons thought “no but mom, you can’t go with any tattoo”. But I did it and I’m proud of it. And no one has said anything negative to me, says Rose-Marie to P4 Östergötland.
Rose-Marie’s joy
With her LHC tattoo, Rose-Marie was noticed in the local newspaper Östgöta Correspondenten. Then the 82-year-old told me that she would probably have a hard time affording to go to hockey this season, as a pensioner and with society’s rising prices. Then the LHC supporter stepped Hampus Evald into the documents.

In a Facebook post in a supporter group on the platform, he urged all common LHC supporters to collect money for two annual passes for Rose-Marie. Something they fixed in no time.
– Yes, it was the supporters there who collected money. His name was Hampus, and they set about collecting money for this then. So I got two season spots, and I have spoken about it to them several times when I met them in the arena, how grateful I am for this, says Rose-Marie.
