A passenger ship has run aground and capsized in the Oslofjord, according to Norwegian media.
A major rescue operation is underway and 40 passengers have been evacuated.

South of Nakkholmen, in Oslo’s inlet, lies the passenger ship with a 25-degree list.
It was just before 8:30 p.m. that the ship sent out a distress call, writes VG.
Lifeboats, a rescue helicopter and other resources from the rescue service have been sent to the scene and started a major rescue operation, the Norwegian rescue service says on X. The police are also there.
– A police boat and other rescue vessels are on the scene and more are on the way. There is also another passenger ship right next to it, says rescue manager in HRS Southern Norway, Oddgeir Andersen, to VG.
The passengers have been evacuated
40 passengers were on board. Shortly after 9 p.m., everyone had been evacuated, the rescue service told TV4 Nyheterna. Four people from the crew are still on the ship.
According to Laila Andresen, the ship’s owner, everyone should be fine.
