On 2 March, the tanker MS Andromeda Star collided with another vessel in the Sound. The collision is confirmed by the state-owned Danish piloting company Danpilot, which was a pilot on board the tanker.

No one is said to have been injured and there are no signs that oil leaked out, Danpilot tells the media site Shippingwatch.

The Danish accident commission began an investigation into the incident, but has already closed the investigation, as the collision is deemed to have had limited consequences, reports Jyllands-Posten.

According to Bloomberg News, the tanker was on its way to a Russian port to load crude oil when the accident occurred.
