Sheets dry in 4 hours with this simple tip – without a dryer or heating

Sheets dry in 4 hours with this simple tip

Your sheets will dry in record time with this method.

In winter, it is always more difficult to dry your sheets, especially if you are not equipped with a dryer. While drying clothes indoors may seem simple, that’s not the case for sheets, towels or blankets. Not to mention the many problems such as humidity and mold that this can cause, the bad smell left on the laundry or the electricity bill that goes up due to the heating running on full blast.

When the day comes to wash the sheets, it’s quickly camping at home, and this can last several days if you don’t know this tip for drying sheets without a dryer and without a heater. The good idea: invest in a dehumidifier. Not only will it allow you to dry your laundry in record time and avoid having laundry lying around the house, but it will also be the solution to avoid the appearance of mold linked to drying laundry, but also to avoid smells of damp laundry.

But the use of the dehumidifier must be combined with good practices. First of all, when washing your sheets, remember to select the maximum spin on your washing machine to remove as much water as possible. Next, you will need to have the right technique to hang your sheets. The ideal is to use two racks to space your laundry as much as possible. This will greatly reduce drying time.

Place the sheets on the racks, making sure the sides are open to allow air from the dehumidifier to circulate freely. The next step is to position the dehumidifier between the two dryers. All you have to do is turn on the dehumidifier. Don’t worry, the humidity level indicated on the device may be very high (around 75/80%), well above what is recommended. This is completely normal, the figure will decrease as your laundry dries.

Then, after an hour, remember to turn your racks over so that the dehumidifier dries the sheets evenly. After two hours, you can also turn the sheets over. In just a few hours your sheets will be completely dry and will not smell damp, as if they had been dried outside.

Please note: for the device to work properly, remember to empty the tank which collects humidity and transforms it into water regularly, otherwise the device will stop working. Finally, here is a last tip to know, if the sun’s rays enter your home, remember to place the drying rack in this location. The sun will speed up the drying of your laundry.
