Wednesday’s audience figure at the sold-out concert was 67,383 – the largest number ever for a foreign artist at Ullevi, concert organizer FKP Scorpio says.
According to Gothenburg Post Bruce Springsteen held the previous record for foreign visitors when 66,561 paying people came to his concert in Gothenburg in 2012. However, none of them can beat Håkan Hellström, who twice in 2016 attracted over 70,000 spectators, at most 70,144.
Thursday’s Ed Sheeran concert attracted an audience of 62,631.
The British singer offered, among other things, a sing-along to the hit “Bad habits”, and the Swedish rapper 1.Cuz made a guest appearance.
