She survived the shots in Parkland – belongs to the council to the victims in Örebro

On February 14, 2018, a 19-year-old former student Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School attacked in Parkland, Florida. 17 people were killed and just as many injured. Among the victims were both students and teachers.

One of those who were at the school was Aalayah Eastmond.

– It was very difficult for me to process everything I heard, saw, smelled, touched and felt, she tells SVT.

Several of the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, including Aalayah Eastmond, have been involved in the weapons issue after the incident. A debate that is constantly recurring larger mass shootings in the United States.

She also has advice for those affected by the mass shooting at the Risbergska school in Örebro:

– Use the power of the feeling to talk about how it feels.
