AnniTheDuck believes she is often misunderstood and comes across as “mean”
This was her new interview: In a YouTube format of a controversial opinion blogger on August 23, AnniTheDuck again commented on the allegations in a 68-minute video.
In many cases she felt misunderstood and could not really explain why many people had a problem with her.
She explained it by saying that she often sounds derogatory without actually meaning what she says. As an example of this “wrong tone” that she often uses, she describes how she recently asked a friend, “Really?”, when he told her that passion fruit was his favorite fruit.
From Anni’s point of view, this was just an honest question. However, her boyfriend perceived it as “derogatory”.
She has now undergone tests and it is possible that she is on the autism spectrum.

At the end of the video, she thanked the interviewer for not asking any critical questions:
I was surprised to hear you talking to me in a much nicer way than I thought. I really thought you were a wanker.
The interviewer allegedly has evidence – but he cannot show it
That was the criticism of the interview: In the aftermath of the interview, exactly this niceness of the interview was criticized.
In addition, viewers who are critical of AnniTheDuck did not like the fact that the interviewer said that he had statements and “evidence” that supported Anni’s view. However, this evidence was not shown to the viewers. The interviewer later said that he had signed a confidentiality agreement because Anni wanted to protect other people.
In her YouTube video from August 25, YouTuber Sashka criticizes both AnniTheDuck and her conversation partner. She says that AnniTheDuck says in the video that her tone often comes across as derogatory, but that she never uses that tone in the video, and on the contrary, has her voice completely under control:

Sashka criticizes the interviewer for not asking any critical questions and for calling viewers “stupid” for criticizing.
In any case, Sascha criticizes the opinion bloggers for trying to be the first to put a video on the current conflict on YouTube and for falling for the manipulation of the streamer, who in her own statement only refuted straw man arguments and ignored many of the legitimate points of criticism. Other opinion bloggers have faced this criticism and deleted their videos.
