Jessica and Andrea’s love story • “Strange to see dad with other girls”
Love reality is close to the hearts of Swedish people and has resulted in countless marriages and children over the course of the seasons. In the first season of Farmer Seeks a Wife, Jessica and Andreas Vestesson met, which resulted in the first reality love child, Emilia.
– It’s strange to see dad with lots of other girls, she says in Efter fem
The premiere season of Bonde sörker fru started in 2006. Today there have been a total of 19 seasons and the viewers have been able to follow both heartbreak and total love bliss. Over the years, it has been one of the dating programs that has generated the most couples and that has led to both weddings and around forty children. One of the couples is the letter writer Jessica and the farmer Andreas where it was love at first sight – or almost anyway.
– For Andreas it was love at first sight, but it went quite quickly for me too, says Jessica Vestesson.
“A bit embarrassing”
Already when the couple met, they had the dream of having children and a few years later, Emilia arrived, who became historic. Today, Emilia is 14 years old and thinks that the title of the first reality love child is fun.
– It feels great, it’s cool, she says.
Being able to look back on how one’s parents met is not common. Something that Emilia mostly, but not always, appreciates.
– It has been a bit embarrassing. It’s strange to see dad with lots of other girls.
Such is life today
Mother Jessica remembers what it was like to record the show, something she describes as cool but also surreal to look back on. She also remembers what it was like to share Andreas.
– It was a very strange situation, she says.
Today, the couple has a total of three children and lives a fast-paced life with horses and other activities. Despite the fact that eighteen years have passed since they met, the love burns.
– There are still fireworks, says Jessica Vestesson.
