Hedvig Lindahl is back in the women’s league and this time in Djurgårdens IF. Now the Swede is seen after the measure before the derby match against Hammarby.
– She hasn’t understood anything, says Jesper Hofmann in Fotbollsmorgon.

Swedish goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl left the women’s league and Sweden after the 2014 season. Since then she has belonged to several top European clubs such as Chelsea, Wolfsburg and Atletico Madrid but is now back in the Swedish top league.

Strong reactions

After the football EC earlier this summer, Hedvig Lindahl signed for the Stockholm club Djurgårdens IF. So far, she has had time for two matches in her new club – where both were losses.

Before last weekend’s match against Hammarby, Hedvig Lindahl wrote several posts on Twitter that provoked strong reactions. Among other things, she wrote that “Hammarby is the best at recruiting audiences” and “If I may wish, I hope that our fans are positive and cheer and contribute to a positive atmosphere. Negative energy must seek somewhere else”.

It has caused several supporters to rage via social media, and Hedvig Lindahl’s post is now seen by Fotbollsmorgon’s Jesper Hofmann.

“Then you don’t understand anything”

– You can’t hold on and not celebrate the rivalry that exists and somewhere accept that these are two teams that hate each other. Don’t go on being gloating and mean that we are doing this together for positive energy, he says.

After the match, Hedvig Lindahl signed autographs for Hammarby supporters on site.

It was something that also evoked strong reactions.

– Then you (Lindahl) don’t understand anything and are in the wrong club. In these (Stockholm clubs) you have to be involved and build a rivalry, says Jesper Hofmann.
