Carolina took control of the match as soon as the team moved to a 2-0 lead in less than two minutes. The opening goal of the match was scored by a four-chain chain led by Kotkaniemi. Good luck with the finish, as Kotkaniemi ‘s bet failed and Derek Stepan was able to move the puck in directly from the failed shot.
Aho, who was chosen as the three-star of the match, was in the early part of the second round when he mastered his season 29th hit by underpowering Teräväinen’s introduction. Sharp raised the disc at the end of the Washington star Alexander Ovetshkin over and Aho drove to the finish line at the other end.
Sharp was also involved in the defense Brett Pescen 4-1 in the middle of the second round. A sharp shot by Pescelle rose to the front of the goal and scored directly into the box.
At the end of the match, an unfortunate situation was seen when Kotkaniemi was injured 1.8 seconds before the end of the match. Lars Ellerin after the tackle, the Finn, who was squatting directly in the locker room, could not put the weight properly on one of his legs.
– I don’t know the severity of the injury, but it doesn’t look good. He’s hurt, but I don’t know how badly. However, he is certainly on the sidelines. I don’t like that to happen when the game is already settled and there are only two seconds left in the Game Clock. However, there is no room for this, Carolina’s head coach Rod Brind’Amour commented on the situation in Kotkaniemi immediately after the game.
Aho’s power balance for this period is 65 (29 + 36) points, Teräväinen has dared to balance 16 + 37 = 53 and Kotkaniemi’s belt has 26 (11 + 15) power markings.
It is possible that Hurricanes and Capitals playing in the same division will immediately face off in the opening round of the playoffs.
Two-star Husso: “Exactly the same, as long as we win”
The goalkeeper of St. Louis Blues also rose to the spotlight in the round Ville Husso, who picked up the puck only once behind him in a 4-1 home win over the Vancouver Canucks. Husso, who stopped the puck 35/36 times, was awarded second place in the match.
Husso have played in this match 29 season with 92.4 percent of possession. His turnout is currently the sixth best in the NHL this season.

Vancouver striker Juho Lammikko was the No. 1 feeder for Canucks ’only hit.
