Sharp and Raanta shone, Carolina dropped from Boston sequel – Oilers weighed in for second round

Carolina Hurricanes has advanced to the second round of the NHL playoffs in hockey. Hurricanes, who sent 4–3 to the Boston Bruins for the summer holidays, won the playoffs with 3–2 goals.

Rejected with Carolina’s goal 27/29 times Antti Raanta was selected as the second star of the fight and the Hurricanes striker recorded the power of 1 + 1 Teuvo Sharp was awarded a three-star.

Teräväinen struck the opening goal of the match from the corner of the goal by directing the opening round Max Domin inside the namupass. Teräväinen paid Dom back for the service in the middle of the second installment when Domi finished a 3-1 win on Teräväinen’s cross pass.

Domi, who was chosen as the best player of the match, also scored a 2-0 goal for Hurricanes at the start of the second set.

Carolina will face either the New York Rangers or the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the playoffs. Carolina’s opponent will survive the seventh encounter between New York and Pittsburgh early Monday.

NHL reigning champion Tampa Bay Lighting was already struggling in the first round of the playoffs.

The place for the second round was finally lost in the seventh game with a tight 2-1 away win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In the first round of the match Nick Paul hit the loose with guests in the lead, but in Toronto Morgan Rielly leveled the middle of the second installment of the game. Paul’s latter hit at the end of the second set was the last in the match.

Paul is from about half an hour’s drive from Toronto.

– When I went to the Leafs games when I was young, already in the warm-up the audience shouted and the electricity in the hall was absurd, Paul recalled.

– We came here and worked really hard, we had no doubts. We liked one, everyone gave their best, blocked shots, focused on details and won the battles. It was a big deal to win such a game in a hall like this, especially when family members were in the stands, Paul said.

Tampa Bay, who had won two previous NHL championships, was close to being knocked out in his previous game. Tampa, who played at home at the time, won the final score 4–3 in a match that extended to Toronto overtime.

The Florida Panthers are skating against Tampa Bay in the second round of the playoffs.

Canadian defender for Edmonton Oilers Cody Ceci rose to the limelight in the playoff round of the playoffs against Los Angeles. Ceci scored a 1-0 victory in the second set of the match Leon Draisaitlin and Connor McDavidin from the starters when the Oilers beat the Kings at home 2-0 and advanced to the second round with a win of 4–3.

For Cec, 28, who scored five goals in the regular season, the goal was first in the playoffs this season and second in his career.

Edmonton superstar McDavid sealed the win in 56.07 as he tipped the knuckle inside the puck. McDavid leads the playoffs with 4 + 10 = 14.
