Sharing from millions of kilometers away! “I’m low on energy, this may be the last photo”

Sharing from millions of kilometers away Im low on energy

NASA’s spacecraft, which reached the Red Planet in 2018, saddened InSight lovers. The spacecraft, which is preparing to retire, shared a very touching message. According to that message, the energy of InSight, which probes the interior of the planet and measures earthquakes, is quite low. The solar-powered spacecraft may even have sent its last photo, according to the message.

SAD MESSAGE FROM INSIGHT ON MARS!

On December 19, a sharing was made from the Twitter account opened in the name of the spacecraft. In the sharing, there was a touching message written by InSight, which has difficulty in taking advantage of the light due to the relentless dust of Mars, and this message, perhaps the last photograph sent by the spacecraft.

The sad message of InSight is as follows;

“My energy is really low, so this might be the last image I can send. Don’t worry about me though. My time here has been both productive and quiet. If I can keep talking to my mission team, I’ll do that. But I’ll be leaving soon. Thanks for being with me.”

The image, which is said to be the last photograph sent by InSight, gives us a perspective from the front of the spacecraft. The photo shows the dome-shaped seismometer and the dust-covered Martian floor.

According to CNET’s report, the footage appears to have been recorded on December 11. This is the latest image on NASA’s site with raw data from the spacecraft.

NASA has prioritized powering the lander’s seismometer to listen for Martian earthquakes. That’s why it shut down most of the spacecraft’s other instruments.
