Tesla founder Elon Musk declared in April this year that he was ready to buy Twitter for $44 billion, equivalent to around SEK 470 billion. But in July, Musk announced that he wanted to cancel the purchase.

Twitter has sued Musk to force him to go through with its purchase. He, in turn, has responded with a counterclaim and believes that he has been misled. According to Musk, Twitter has, among other things, inflated its user figures.

Court proceedings are expected to begin in mid-October.
