Shareholders are suing Ericsson for 1.8 billion

The lawsuits are separate but coordinated, and come from both fund companies and pension funds, according to the newspaper. They demand compensation for the negative price development since February 16, 2022, the day after Ericsson’s CEO Börje Ekholm revealed the contents of an internal and until then secret Iraq report.

From February 16 to March 2, Ericsson’s B share fell by roughly 33 percent, and the value has now more than halved.

International listed companies are often sued abroad, mainly in the USA, by shareholders when the price has fallen.
