After losing 0-3 against Argentina in the new super final, Finalissima, just days earlier, it was a desire for revenge and pressure on Italy that hosted Germany in the Nations League.
But unlike the match against Argentina, “Gli Azzurri” got a point from the meeting in Bologna.

The split point means that Hungary after the first round tops group 3 in the Nations League’s highest division, after defeating England at home with 1-0.
