At the weekend, a typhoon hit the giant city.
The giant Chinese city of Shanghai has already been caught in the eye of a second storm within a few days.
During the past 24 hours, tropical storm Pulasan passed over the city, whose wind strength soon weakened to a tropical depression. However, Pulasan will drop a large amount of rain, estimated at 200 millimeters, on Shanghai.
The city was just recovering from Typhoon Bebinca, the strongest storm to hit the city in over 70 years. 400,000 people were evacuated from the Bebinca road. The storm knocked out electricity in 30,000 households.
The Pulasan storm is now moving northeast towards the sea in a weakened state and continues its course towards South Korea, according to the forecast.
