Shamsud-Din Jabbar was shot dead by police after his car crashed. He fired several shots at the police and two officers were injured. Shamsud-Din Jabbar was an American citizen and came from Texas.

The FBI, which in the morning took over the investigation from the local police, states that they are now investigating whether he had any connections to any terrorist organizations. The incident is currently being investigated by the FBI as an act of terrorism.

“We are aggressively following all leads to be able to identify possible accomplices,” the FBI writes in the statement.

Probably used a rental car
