Shake Your Future in Naples the social responsibility project signed

(Finance) – Comes to its third edition Shake Your Future, the social responsibility project dedicated to young people conceived by Bacardi Group, international leading family company in the production of spirits.

In Italy, starting from the launch of the initiative in 2019, the percentage of students hired in the Italian hospitality sector reached more than 90%. Today, for the first time, the Bacardi Group chooses to bring Shake Your Future also to Naples, thus involving four Italian cities, including Rome, Turin and Milan, and 50 students in partnership with various non-profit associations and professionals at the
national.

Shake Your Future, presented today in Milan at Terrazza Martini, will start on 24 October thanks to the collaboration with European Bartender School, with offices in Rome and Milan, Sweet & Sour of Turin e iBar Academy Italy of Naples, and is aimed at 50 young aspiring bartenders.

The program includes a training course of 10 weeksand to acquire the skills and experience necessary to embark on a new career. Students will be trained in the art of bartending and mixology and will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in some of the Bacardi Group’s partner bars. Participants who complete the course will receive an internationally recognized diploma and will be able to access job opportunities in the sector, thus transforming their lives and building a brighter future.

The project gives young people from difficult social backgrounds the tools they need to pursue a rewarding career and, at the same time, allows Bacardi to further support their partners by helping them find new talented bartenders.

Another novelty of this year’s Bacardi program is the collaboration with Alex Frezza, founder L’Antiquario di Napoli, which ranked 46th in the 14th edition of World Best Bars.

After launching in 2018, the program expanded first to the European level and then to the global level, with involvement
of South Africa and Asia. The Bacardi Group’s goal isinsertion of 10 thousand new bartenders into the job market on an international scale by 2030. Shake Your Future, is part of Bacardi’s broader Good Spirited ESG program.
