Västra Ringsjön has flooded.
About 30 lots are under water and residents are forced to use bajamajor.
– People mostly sit and clasp hands, says Bo Anders Nilsson, chairman of Ringsjöbaden’s associations.
Västra Ringsjön, which is located outside Eslöv, has had problems with a high water level throughout the autumn.
Recently, it has rained more and more and the saturated ground has now caused a major flood, both at Sjöholmen and Ringsjöbaden.
– It is among the worst conditions that have been here. We have had a similar situation before, but it was at the beginning of March. The problem now is that there are two, three months left before nature starts to drink the water. It is very bad, says Bo Anders Nilsson.
In total, there are 31 properties in the community, of which eleven are permanent homes. Since last Christmas, the area has had severe drainage problems as there is no stormwater runoff.
– Everyone is more or less affected and everyone is affected. VA Syd has deployed Bajamajor. It is a very tough situation.
Yellow weather warning
At the moment, it is not known how the water will drain away. Several houses are at risk of being flooded.

SMHI has issued a yellow warning for high flows throughout southern Scania.
– We are quite helpless right now. It is the powers of the weather that we can hope for. Now there will be even more precipitation for a few days and then it will be cold. It gives us some time, says Bo Anders.
