In the coming week, it will be upwards of 15 degrees warm in several parts of the country.
The heat melting the snow combined with the recent rain has caused SMHI to issue several yellow weather warnings for high flows. This applies, among other things, to the Tämnarån between Gävle and Uppsala and the Kolbäcksån which flows into Lake Mälaren near Västerås.
According to SMHI, there is a risk of flooding near watercourses and lakes in connection with rising water levels. The warnings apply until further notice.
The weather warnings also apply to Byälven in Värmland and Motala Ström in Östergötland.
