20 toilets have been out of order on SJ’s trains between Stockholm and Jämtland during the first quarter of this year. Now they are forced to pay SEK 100,000 according to a decision from the Swedish Transport Administration, reports news agency Siren.
SJ must also pay SEK 103,000 for lack of punctuality for a total of 47 departures, according to the decision.
The agreement between SJ and the Swedish Transport Administration states that night trains must run in both directions between Stockholm and Jämtland (Duved) between December 13 and December 14, 2024. SJ has committed to having specially adapted vehicles that must meet the agreed requirements.
