The thermometers showed over 23 degrees in several places in Gothenburg during Saturday. For the runners, it has meant a hot Gothenburg lap and more people than usual have been taken to hospital.
– There has been a little more in volume and slightly more serious cases. We have driven some from the health care at the dike to hospital, which we don’t usually have to do, says Claes Mangelus.
A healthcare team of 100 people is on site.
– We were prepared for it. We have adapted and increased staffing, says Claes Mangelus.
