Province of Utrecht – The States fractions of VVD, BBB and Utrechtnu! want the province of Utrecht to investigate the possibilities to prevent the departure of the KNVB from Zeist and thus from the province. VVD member Dimitri Gilissen said in a committee meeting that connects football and that the KNVB is “more than a logo on a door of a building”. According to him, the KNVB is also of significant and economic sense in society, cultural and economic terms.
