Several snake-bites – serum ran out
The emergency room at Sundsvall Hospital admitted three people during Midsummer’s Eve who reacted strongly to viper bites. Now the hospital urges the public to be careful, writes Sundsvalls Tidning.
During the day, the doses of serum available in the hospital ran out. More serum had to be ordered from the hospitals in Örnsköldsvik and Sollefteå.
According to the newspaper, the vipers have been more aggressive than usual in the region this year.
