Two cars have collided on highway 40 just east of Nässjö in Småland. According to the police, several people have been seriously injured.
– We do not have an exact overview of how many people are involved. But we have several seriously injured and several have been taken to hospital, says Camilla Larsson, the police officer on duty.
The alarm about the accident came at 19.24 on Saturday. The road is closed in both directions and work at the site is still ongoing.
A total of seven people are involved in the accident, writes Jönköpings-Posten.
