Several rough threats against about ten damall Swedish players

Last season, FC Rosengård received several threats against a player in the team. There were also threats to players in other clubs as well as a general threat aimed at all players in the league.

Ahead of Rosengård’s meeting with Djurgården in May last year, an unnamed player was threatened in the Skånelaget, and as a measure the security level was raised around the team’s matches and training. The threat was reported to the police.

The same player was also threatened with Rosengård’s match against Häcken on August 26. The same threat was then upgraded to all players in Damallsvenskan.

Rough threats during the night to Wednesday

Now it has been almost seven months since then – then new threats are gaining momentum. During the night until Wednesday, 10-15 players in Damallsvenskan received threats.

The Football Channel finds that these are players in AIK, Djurgården, Häcken and Malmö FF and that the threats are rough and have been directed to the players themselves and to a player who has left the damall Swede.

When the Football Channel reaches Häckens Security Manager Nicklas Möller, he says:

– I can confirm that there are two in our team that have received it. Of course, it’s boring. It is sad that these threats exist and flourish in Allsvenskan. It is linked to the threats that occurred last year, he says and continues:

– We will report to the police. We follow the police’s recommendations on what to do. We have also had contact with the security department at SvFF and receive support there as well.
