It was at the Renaissance Palace that the President of the Republic Faustin Archange Touadéra received the Brics delegation. Several points were discussed during this meeting which lasted five hours.
” We have seven key projects that have been selected for the opening up of the Central African Republic and the improvement of its relations with not only its neighbors, but with the rest of the world, explains Ahoua Don Mello, the representative of BRICS West and Central Africa. The projects are airport, railway infrastructure projects, river transport projects and at the same time the creation of a new city. And so these projects will make it possible to create a living environment that can help start the real development of the country. »
It is difficult for the moment to assess the cost of these projects because, according to the delegation, the feasibility studies are continuing this week with the Central African ministers. “ From today, each ministerial department will see what we can learn from these seven projects so that it can benefit our country. These are innovative projects. Agriculture, trade, industry for example… We work hand in hand for agro-business. We can do very, very, very big things », enthuses Léa Mboua Doumta, Minister of Trade, will meet the delegation this Wednesday.
