At present, you can choose to register yourself at care centers in Sörmland via an election form, 1177 and through care company apps. But due to the fact that several Sörmlanders have listed themselves via the apps without realizing it themselves, the region is now proposing to remove that very possibility entirely.
– We have come to the conclusion that this is far too often when we receive signals that people have not understood, says Kent Bobits, who is a business developer at the health choice unit in Region Sörmland.
The proposal is now with the regional board, which is expected to decide on it during its meeting on Tuesday. If it goes through, the new system will come into force from 1 June this year.
