A bus and a car have collided on road 583 near Enåner, south of Hudiksvall. The alarm was received just before 8.30 pm and the emergency services, ambulance and police have been sent to the scene of the accident.
According to the rescue service, four people have been critically injured.
– We have several people who have been taken to hospital who are seriously injured, says Ola Österling, the police’s press officer.
A total of seven people must be involved.
– Three people have been in the bus and four in the car, says Ola Nilsson at SOS Alarm.
The road is closed during recovery and rescue work at the accident site. According to the Swedish Transport Administration, it is expected to open at 11 p.m. at the earliest.
