The people were arrested in “coordinated operations around Sweden” on Wednesday, the police write on their website.
“Very large quantities of narcotics have been seized. There are connections to the criminal network. The police in the West region see it as a major blow against organized crime,” the police write.
The seizures consist of several hundred kilos of narcotics, according to information given to Aftonbladet.
The crimes must have been committed in Western Sweden. The case is in the Vänersborg district court and the detention hearings took place in emergency court in Uddevalla on Sunday.
