At least nine people have died after a river overflowed on the outskirts of Johannesburg, local media reported.
The accident happened on Saturday, when 33 people were in the water for a ceremony where a number of people were to be baptized. At least 15 people were swept away by the water, and two were found to have died.
On Sunday, seven more people were found to have lost their lives, and the search for those who are still missing continues, according to the rescue service in Johannesburg.
