At least 14 people died after a fire broke out on a passenger boat in Indonesia on Monday. At least 226 people were rescued from the ferry, which operates a route in the province of Nusa Tenggara Timur in the eastern part of the country. As a rescue boat approached 20 people swimming around in the water, a little girl was discovered, who survived thanks to her rescuers putting her on life jackets. The information on how many people were on the ferry differs. The Jakarta Globe writes that over 250 people, adults and children, were on the boat, but not all have been registered, so it is not yet known if any are possibly missing. What caused the fire is not yet clear. Watch the rescue of the little girl in the clip above
