Four people have been killed and dozens injured in a Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region on Monday, the region’s governor said.

“At least four people were killed and 34 injured – these are preliminary data on the attack on Pokrovsk. Among the injured are two children, 12 and 13 years old. They are moderately to seriously injured,” Ukrainian governor Vadym Filashkin said on social media.

In the Ukrainian port city of Odessa, a Russian cruise robot has hit a warehouse, the Ukrainian Air Force says. Three people are said to have been injured and a large fire to have broken out. Another cruise robot was shot down, according to the Air Force.

Odessa on the Black Sea in southern Ukraine, a port city essential for Ukrainian exports, has been subject to repeated Russian drone and robot attacks since the 2022 invasion.

There are also reports of Russian attacks from the Ukrainian regions of Kherson and Kharkiv, writes AFP.
