Several dead in Cetinje in Montenegro – after bar shooting

– The suspect killed at least ten people, two of whom were minors who were the children of the restaurant owner, who was also killed, says the country’s Minister of the Interior Danilo Saranovic, at a press conference.

Among the dead are also said to be relatives of the perpetrator. Four people are said to be injured.

The police are looking for the perpetrator, who fled after the shooting. The man, who is said to be 45 years old, is said to have opened fire in a bar in the town of Cetinje, about three miles northwest of the capital Podgorica.

According to the state television company RTCG and other local media, the origin of the shooting should have been an argument in the bar.

Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajic has announced three days of national mourning.

– This is a terrible tragedy that has affected us all, he says.

The police have urged residents in Cetinje to stay indoors and say that it is not a deal between gang criminals.
