The circumstances surrounding this weekend’s car accident southeast of Hässleholm are still unclear. But the police suspect gross negligence in traffic, gross causing the death of another, gross causing bodily harm and gross drunken driving.

Seven teenagers were traveling in the car that crashed into a tree and several of them were trapped in the vehicle in connection with the accident on the road in 2004, near Östra Ejaröd, shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
A 17-year-old boy died and several young people were injured, one of which was life-threatening.
The police initially classified the incident as an accident, but are now investigating whether crime may be behind it.
